With a view to providing eye sight to elders, we sponsored an eye clinic and a medical clinic in 2023.
HelpAge Sri Lanka carried out the clinics on 1st December 2023 at the Pore Purana Shri Maha Viharaya, Athurugiriya.
Ven. Rathmala Wetiye Seelawimala Thero, the Chief Incumbent of the temple presided the inaugural session.
Mr. Dulanjan Kariyawasam, Executive Director of the company and all staff of the PROMET Group attended the event and volunteered to help the HelpAge team to carry out the clinic.
Mrs. M A Pubudini Ishanthi , the Chairperson/Chief Executive Officer and Mr. Dulanjan Kariyawasam, Executive Director handed over the spectacles on 8th January 2024 to the 55 elders out of 75 elders who attended the clinic.
