Professional MET Consultancy Services signed an agreement for the Designing, Fabrication, Supply, Installation & Commissioning of an Air Pollution Control System for two 45 TPH biomass boilers in Lanka Sugar Company Pvt Ltd, Pelwatte.
This pollution control system is inclusive of two Venturi Wet Scrubber Systems, two 250 kW ID fans and VSD controlling systems for the 45 TPH boilers.
Wet Scrubbers will contribute to protect the environment which is seriously affected at present due to a high volume of dust released to the air during the sugar production process. All the villagers in the surrounding villagers will be the beneficiaries of this project.
